So the PistonHead collective, what does this country need to sort its self out. What things do you think we should be doing as a priority?
Me off the top of my head.
Nuclear Power, lots of it and pronto!
Radical reduction of benefits.
Seperation of the commercial and private savings/investment within the banks.
Reduction in CCTV and traffic cameras.

100% fuel duty and VED refund for anyone who owns a car that produces 100bhp per litre or more.
Speed limits proportional to the power output of the car.
Make car ownership illegal for people between 18 and 65 if they don't have a job.
£400 a year 'road tax' for cyclists who wear lycra shorts reduced to zero if they promise not to wear lycra.

To be fair, 100% on nuclear power and smart investment in infrastructure on a large scale.
Road works..I know it's an old story but why can't the council get its act together?

An end to private landlords supplying state housing.
Well built and on site managed utility blocks on the edge of cities for youngsters needing cheap accomodation when they re-locate for a job and also for immigrants and young mothers. All the same size. All the same mod cons. No exceptions. State utility housing. Equality for all.
Ensure that the welfare system is only what it was supposed to be, a net to catch the unfortunate when they fell. Not a lifestyle choice.
Private security for the worst housing estates. Protect those who have no choice. Destroy those who prey on them.
Ban councils from offering any language support other than free English evening classes.
Outsource UK prison system for serious repeat offenders to the DR of Congo.
Give teachers their human rights back. Remove rights from students.
Politicians can only speak in public when connected to a lie detector.
Sensible splitting of retail banking from institutional. Retail clients to have the right to assign a % of their savings to institutional for an increased return but lose segregation of funds and asset protection.
Empty plinth on Trafalgar Sq to carry an Iron Maidon with Blair and Brown inside.
No welfare until someone has worked for 5 years. Includes youngsters and immigrants.
State pension contributions to actually start going into a fund and end the world's largest Ponzi scheme.
Replace the live National Lottery with a show where individuals, chosen by the electorate each week, get a right royal beating. Allow betting on how long before they start crying and begging the forgiveness of the people.
