Trying to get a Tetra Rouge camp pitch but was told by Tickets for U that a club has taken the lot frown They did not know which club, so who has them? Any ideas?
There are only Blue Nord left, so i fear i will not be going at all to the classic. I have left it to late for a good camp site frown Who has the Tetra Rouge tickets?

I think Tetre Rouge was always designated as a 'club' site, because they want to try and keep the older cars together. See also Karting Nord which seems to be the same.

FWIW, we're in Bleu Nord (we're normally in Houx for the main event) but I think that'll be fine as it's close enough to the paddock and main straight, as well as providing easier access out to Arnage and Mulsanne by bike.

Thanks Nick. what about parking? I usualy park my car next to my tent. If i was to buy a Blue Nord ticket, can i do the same? Or do i have to park away from the pitch?

It's the Triumph Sports Six club iirc and they have a contract with the ACO for the whole space.

Bleu Nord is a camping area (as opposed to Parking Bleu which is just a car park) so no problem there. Marked out and numbered pitches, where technically you need to fit your car and tent onto pitch, but where a bit of over-spill often occurs.

Thanks mate. So finaly whats the ground like Nick? We once bought a pitch at Karting Nord and it was under water by 3 inches 5 years ago. Then we discoverd Tetra and it was bliss because the ground was hard. Do you know mate?

Not sure to be perfectly honest, but have a look on beermountain.com as they have reviewed each of the campsites.

I'm also working very much on the basis that a) it won't rain in July (there, that's jinxed it....) and b) if it does, then the ground clearance on our motorhome should be sufficien for us not to drown wink

Karting Nord is largely occupied by the Morgan Sports Car Club - apparently we're the club with the largest number of cars at the classic.

How many Morgans are there? I've got 60 TVRs booked, plus there are a group from the French TVRCC. I know there is also a large number of Porsches in KN. It should be a great display.

And that's just the campsite... biggrin

Total Morgans? I don't know, easily over 100 I would think, there are 65 booked on my crossing alone.

Yep, Tetre Rouge is a Triumph-only camp site. While officially it's blocked-booked by the TSSC the spaces are actually made available to all Triumph clubs but it's easier to have a single point of contact with the ACO.
