Tam Drivers door adustment

Evening all,

The drivers door is rubbing when closed. Is there any way it can be adjusted to give more clearance. Will post a pic when I get a chance.

hi ,

my passenger one rubs and i was give the advice to just leave it , unless it get any worse.
you can adjust them , there are allen key bolts in the footwell.

i tried this with no joy and a lot of stress.

You can adjust the door pin so that it lifts the door a little as it enters the door catch. Put some masking tape around the pin to mark its position on the door (a la Mr Varley's technique) then put some more masking tape, or electrical tape if you have it, around the pin itself to prevent marking. Get a pair of molegrips on it and turn anti-clockwise to loosen. You can now adjust the location of the pin and get the door closing much better. It takes a bit of faffin around to get it right, but persevere!
