I have a job i love and enjoy, i have been accepted to a college i strived to get into. But i still feel no fullness.

I have an erge to give it all up and do something stupidly different.
That "Whale Wars" program is my current draw.
I dont even really give a st about whales.
But the whole adventure attracts me. I know its a stupid, reckless, run by idiots and often illegal but its an itch that will need to be scratched sooner or later.

Just thought i would share.

God, If I left to chase every dream I thought about I'd never be home, get your qualifications then see the world, or before not mid study.

The world looks nice for a little bit.

I have an erge to give up all my current commitments and change everyting mainly to do something highly dangerous and stupid.

Capish?

No real reason for the posts, just a thought i have had for a while and the recent thread about the guy who sold everything for a Gallardo and just drove brought it back up.

Last week I quit my well paid job in IT and bought a flight to Bangkok with the aim to do some English teaching around there somewhere. Sometimes you just have to grab the bull by the horns and go for it smile

Learning Italian might be handy.

Or English, for that matter.

You're bored. When I'm offshore I hatch all sorts of plans of crazy exciting stuff I want to do when I get home, but when I do get home I just want to chill, work in the garage on my car or bike, or play the Xbox, etc etc.

Going home IS my holiday. biggrin

Mind you, next time I go home it will be to the Philippines, as we have just this month moved there. I had this crazy exciting plan last time I was offshore, y'see, to take the family go and live in some third world country, seemed like a great idea at the time, kinda like Whale Wars did......

Hey OP.

Why not book a ticket on the white water 'dictionary' raft?

Run wild.

Run free.

Looking for things to see?

Try looking under 'u' for 'urge'.

As an abbreviation where the first letters of each full word are normally capitalised, you may wish to also capitalise 'p' and 'h'.

Hope this helps.

That picture always makes an appearance sooner or later.

But unfortunately it was taken some 30 years before my time.
