Hi,

I have a 2000 (X reg) honda civic s for my first car, and someone went up the back of me earlier this month. The rear bumper has 2 holes/cracks and the boot is bent and wont open and shut properly.

I have an appointment monday at a body shop and they will decide if it is a write off or repairable.

If they do say the car is going to be a write off, can i drive it until i recieve the money from the insurance company?

I've recently started a job as a pizza delivery driver (2 weeks ago) (rubbish but better than nothing), and i dont know how they will take it if I cant work for a week or so

If it was non fault you are entitled to a courtesy car at the third parties expense until the cheque is paid if your car is deemed unroadworthy or an uneconomical repair.
