Might have been done before but anyway, let's have some horrible/funny/scarry stories.

I wonder what's the worst passenger you've been stuck next to on a bus, train or plane? Was it a yelling kid being ignored by their parents? Or was it some obese person whose lard spilled over Into your personal space? Some drunk gobsh!te? A thuggish little chav carving his initials into the seat with a flick knife? Someone with appalling hygiene whose stink had you choking? Or something else again?
What's the worst passenger you've been stuck with on a bus, train or plane?

Flying out to Spain a couple of years ago I had the fat drunk next to me on the flight. The flight had been delayed 20mins and he was arguing with the hostess about the delay. Firstly that we hadn't been told the reason, and secondly that he'd booked a train ticket from the airport for a train departing 30mins after we were due to land :faceplam:
Nothing too exciting, but given my experience, a 20min delay for a train is to be expected and there is far more to go wrong with a plane.

I had a flight from Ireland - Birmingham last September.

I was sat with my ex in the window seat. This American kid (around 15) came over and shouted rudely "YOU'RE IN MY SEAT", myself and my (then) girlfriend checked our tickets and agreed we'd made a mistake as we had been travelling all day and we were knackered! This little st got really agressive towards us.

Anyway we moved to the next seat along and just after take off this American kid was sick all over the place, luckily it was cleared up quickly and he had a sickbag. He then asked me if we wanted to swap seats as "he's finished looking out the window now" I said to him "no thanks, can't sit in the wrong seat sorry" if only he had some manners and asked me to move nicely in the first place ey...

Was on a flight to greece once, me and a couple of mates.

On a place with a 3 seat | isle | 3 seat combination so luckily all 3 of us were sitting together.

In front of us, a family of 3 sat down, young girl around 12 sat in front of my mate by the window, wife sat in front of my mate in the middle seat and dad sat in front of me.

"Thank god" I thought to myself - the young kid was sitting the furthest away from me and I will have sensible and quiet dad in front of me - bonus.

No. I was very very wrong.

Young kid was as quiet and well behaved as a very quiet and well behaved thing. She sat there totally still for the whole 5 hours listening to her personal stereo quietly and reading.

Dad in front of me on the other hand must have had some type of disorder. He couldn't sit still for a minute, practically jumping up and down in his seatt like some excited child to the point I couldnt put anything on the seat tray, kept getting up out of his seat to check something in the upper storage compartment then flumping down into his seat really hard - unbelievable...

At one point, I even lent forward and asked if he was ok - he turned round and said in a polite voice "yes fine thankyou", and carried on confused

Wierdo...

I was on a flight from Gatwick to Manchester a few years ago and sat nxt to Jordan in buisness class. I had no idea who she was. She just looked like any other woman. She wasnt plasterd in make up just a plain, fairly good looking girl.
She did have a big Jumper on by the way.
In fact it wasnt until we were about to get off the flight that two blokes behind me were wispering to each other "Thats Jordan". Sure enough, after security, all the press were there.
Oh well.

Another flight to Aberdeen I was on from Manchester I sat opposite Fred Dibner. Now he was the spit of what you saw on TV. Waistcoat, flat cap, gold pocket watch chain.
What a nice chap he was. Nice smile and polite to the stewardess.
Bless him

A chap on the tram on the IOM, a well spoken chap in his late 60's who had moved to the island 15 or so years before. He delighted in telling is about his russian wife who did not like 'blacks and browns' and how the iom was so nice because there were 'none of them there'

Not quite sure where he bought her mind hehe

we had the chav family from hell on a flight to tenerife. 2 women 4 kids ages from ~8 to 15 , all swearing and moaning the whole time. They were giving everyone grief and ended up with a flight steward having to stand over them for the last hour of the flight.

As soon as he sat down for landing the girl who was ~15 and drunk said loudly 'im going to tell the captain you've all been horrible' and started towards the flight deck. I tripped her up, she landed on her face and the steward had to sit on her for the landing.

Me and another large bloke were then tasked with keeping them in their seats after landing which was fun hehe. The police arrived and took them off the plane at gunpoint.

Apparently they spent a night in the cells, the airline wouldnt fly them back and the hotel wouldnt book them in. I think they ended up being flown back under escort.

I sat next to a one eyed, one legged wrinkly old Thai lady with a small excitable monkey and a cage with a Chicken in it on an over night bus from Bankok to Koh Samui once.

I Was on a coach in Sicily sat next to a very large American couple who had the annoying habit of eating constantly and periodically getting up and brushing crumbs of food onto me and everyone else around them, the same couple were loud and would get up and block the asile every time the coach stopped for a "comfort break".

I took a taxi to the dead sea from Jeruselem and shared the ride with a ginger midget who I had never met before but he spoke english and it made the fare cheaper.

the worst experience I've had by far was a trip to israel in october, slap bang in the middle of the festivals (rosh hashana etc).

on the way out the plane was full of elderly orthodox jews, creating problems immediately as we (me + 7 friends) had booked seperately, were sat in our correct seats but the orthodox men refused to sit next to the girls. there were 2kids in the row behind kicking my seat whose parents flatly ignored my polite requests for them to stop.

once in the air, every single male took his turn to pace the aisle whilst chanting from a prayer book or empty the overhead locker to find his homberg from a pile of tens of identical hats. old men in layers of heavy wool creates a remarkably pungent smell.

the return leg was full of young jewish couples (late teens) returning home to the uk from religious college. each had at least one child, so in addition to the musical chairs and the praying merry go round their was the baby waaarghwaaaargh choir to contend with and the smell of st as nappies were changed in seats with the used nappies left in the aisle. on top of this some kid noticed the swastikas in the book I was reading (the boy in the striped pyjamas) leading to a tirade of abuse until I embarrassedly explained myself! my only source of amusement came by starting a game of uno with a couple of orthodox teens i'D seen smoking and necking jamesons in the airport bar.

the cap it off, we were all detained at manchester airport for 2hrs whilst the police searched the plane as someone's luggage had caught fire in the hold.

good job the flights were free, the whole experience was akin to something out of a mel brooks movie.

On a flight back from Cyprus a few years ago the pilot comes on the speaker and says 'there is a mobile phone switched on located in either row 18 or 19, would you kindly keep it switched off for the remainder of the flight.'
There was a family occupying these rows, they were about 4 rows in front of me. Everybody seemed to be looking in their direction and then a steward and stewardess came down by them to ask them to switch it off.
It was a 16/17 year old bratty chav girl with it on, who proceeds to shout and swear at the staff refusing to switch it off despite warnings about others safety etc. Some arguing and shouting floows and then there was a bit of a squabble when her dad gives her a slap up the chops and sort of wrestles the phone away from her from what I could see.

About an hour later when we land at Birmingham the passengers are told to keep seated whilst they were carted away by Police. At least it gave me some entertainment on an otherwise dull night flight.

Certain destinations attract a certain type of person ...

Same thing with certain airlines I shan't name.

My two best were on a LA-NY redeye where the passenger next
to me, once she discovered I was English, wanted to talk
incessantly about the Royal Family until an ungodly 4am.
I shut her up eventually by claiming to be a Republican
and wishing the whole lot of them were shot. Oddly enough,
I didn't get her phone number.

Other than that, assorted chavs cracking open (at 9am !)
cans of Special Brew they'd smuggled in their hand luggage.
The expected fight broke out 30 minutes later.
A lovely start to a family holiday having to explain that one
to the kids.
