Track day experiences for the first time!
Discussion
First experience today of being on a track! well an airfield! Payed my money to take out the ferrari 360, Subaru Impreza, Aston Martin db9, Porsche 997 2s and Lotus Elise, Received full passanger instructions, loved every minute although would have liked to pushed them to there limits a bit more but fully understand the reasons why not! By the time you get used to each car you have to come back in again! Had a great experience all round but to top off the day the guys were kind enough to let me loose in the Caterham 7 and wow!! For me this and the Lotus were in a different leauge! Such a thrll and the feeling when you get it all right is hard to beat!
Whats the next step!? more trackdays similar to gain experience! or do i go and purchase a Caterham 7!?
I do not feel comfortable taking my everyday car on a track!

I did one similar and was disappointed. I drove an Evo 8 which was brilliant and an absolutley battered Ferrari 355. I prefered the Evo!Whats the next step!? more trackdays similar to gain experience! or do i go and purchase a Caterham 7!?

Had 3 laps around an airfield and thought it was a waste of money.
Went Go Karting for the first time soon after and much prefered that! Plus it was a quarter of the price.
I am going to get a track toy at some point though
