Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can advise of the best place to get new bushes for the complete rear diff cradle?? We've got the earlier style suspension setup. We need the front diff mount, both rears and also the top mounts. We're wanting to go poly bush, but also thinking solid mounting them - anyone know if this will cause problems re: chassis cracking etc??

Many thanks in advance!

Hi

Try Steve Heath, he helped me with a set for my rebuild!

You may want to speak to Andy Race (TVR Monster), he's found poly bushes did not like the abuse racing and heavy track use give them, and went back to rubber.
My Taz is fully rose joined apart from the top of rear on the ali cross member.
It's had to have some re-reinforcements though at the mounting points, your welcome to come and look, or I can send you some photo's I took when I had the body off.

It's not a bad Idea to take the body off now and then, too give the chassis a good check over. I found a few bits on mine that was close to failing, due to some rush repairs and where parts was rubbing on the chassis, and had nearly worn though

Cheers Leigh. How did you rosejoint all the diff mounts? We're considering solid mounting things but worried it might be too harsh... Dad's Griff is poly bushes and it's been fine so far. Just think rubber might have too much movement in the rear that's all?? All our rear suspension is rosejointed, but pics of your diff mount rosejointed would be good if you can.

Cheers
