car immobilizes, everthing lights up but turn the key or push the button and it just gives 1 click

battery is fully charged btw

any ideas much appreciated

If you have a testlight or multimeter check for 12v at the little terminal on the starter when the button is pressed, easy to get to from the N/S. If there is 12v then it's the starter. If not it's the wiring.

I had the trigger wire fail recently (due to being too short and stretched, apparently from the factory). See http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Easy to test as above - or just give the trigger wire a tug near the terminal on the starter. HTH.
