Countersink Steering Wheel Screws...

A couple of weeks ago I ws flicking through Ebay and notices a chap selling Stainless Steel Steering Wheel Screws for TVR's...

£3.99 for a set

He advertised they were M5 x 16mm.

So...I got 100 through work, for me and fellow PHers...

Only to find that the S Series screws in mine are M5 x 40mm...

I let the chap on Ebay know that they don't fit S's....

So...I got another 100 (right length) through work, for me and fellow PHers...

I have 100 M5 x 16mm - fits Griff and Chim.

I have 82(left) M5 x 40mm - Fits S Series.

There are 6 screws on the wheel so:

16 sets for the Griff/Chim.
13 sets for the S.

If anybody wants a set FOC, mail through profile, I will Give you my home address for you to send SAE for return of screws....

Why the question marks ? Are you questioning my ability with a steel rule ? Perhaps I should be worried regarding the strength of my 15mm (maybe 16mm)fixings. As far as I know, its the factory fitted original wheel.

Hi Dave,

I quite fancy a set if you have any left, but I obviously can't check the length ATM.

Also, maybe I can get them off you at one of the TVRCC or PH meetings? I'm hoping to go to the Maidenhead/Windsor PH meet on the 23rd if my car's back by then, otherwise it'd be a Berks or Hants TVRCC one.

Yep...

Went the same day as Yellabelly & Keithyboy...Tweety & PStruck gone today...


I've had a lot of requests for the 40mm screws...

I've mailed my address, so its first come first serve, I am turning around delivery next day.

If you don't send SAE you won't get..

But if there are only a couple of requests left when I run out I will probably get a few more...
