who to go to for a roof covering?

I`d like to have a new roof put on the griff, can anyone recommend someone who is good at this?
preferably someone local in the south, also if anyone on here is good at the photo shop stuff, I`d like to see what a green coloured roof would look like, can supply a pic of my car if anyone can help.

Yup, but I went to D&C in Blackpool, so not in the south.

Yup was fitted by them. I can't say how much the roof was, as I had a new carpet as well and they quoted for a complete job. However it was £1400 for the lot which was, carpets, new rear hood and centre targa panel.

I hesitated responding - there is a place in Bourne End near Maidenhead that comes recommended by other TVRCC members. I was going to use him to get the hood on my S replaced but the timing didn't work.

I mailed them for a quote - £725 inc VAT, fitted.
Fitting takes a full day at their factory (Chessington).

Alternatively, the parts cost about £285, plus VAT & delivery.

One thought about a non-Black roof Clive - as someone with a Blue roof - if you damage the targa panel, or if you cut it sometime in the future, getting a match for a coloured roof will be a pig whereas getting a black fabric to be a near match isn't so difficult.

Just a thought.

cheers, I found them via google yesterday, seems my best option so far.

I know what you are saying Ian, but I`m totally fed up with the black, and think a nice shade of green will set the car of nicely against the dark green bodywork.

I collect mine for Gary Creasey tomorrow hoodsandtrims . Co .uk . It's taken a while ti find someone with a number od recommendations, so on my way back from the Netherlands I'll collect her in the afternoon.

Final bill not in yet as I'm having all interior carpets re-trimmed, the boot carpet re-fitted and spruced up and the hood fully re-trimmed, but will let you know once I'm home tomoz night.
