Wow, that is going to be one awesome trackday car once all those mods are done.

Thats pretty much the same as I’m planning only I’ve been doing mine for over a year or so. Just got the gearbox and clutch to do, Proalloy bits have been ordered, hard pipe, breather etc. Hoping to be fitting 0.3 bar actuators this week with a bit of luck, but they are taking a bit of finding. Look forward to reading what you think Sundance once completed.

Mine must be very similar - it has the full ProAlloy catalogue, tunnel cooling and de-baffled, Roush exhaust and remap with adjustable suspension/decent aftermarket wheels and groved discs/Pagids all round. It does make a very capable track toy and now wondering what to do next.

Having thought for a while and consider engine upgrades I have decided to do nothing as the car is running so well biggrin.

Sundance, did MV help you out financially with the blocked cat?

That's not good Sundance, what's MV's stance on this? are they going to reimburse you or do they insist on doing it themselves etc? Denying all knowledge of it?

"showing 353bhp at the wheels, but on the plus it had plenty of boost" sounds pretty good for an engine with less than half a turbo working?? What would that be at the crank, 390? I don't understand it.

Now looking at set up, Does anyone have a good set up for road and track that they wouldnt mind sharing with me as the standard one is censored What camber do you ran front and back? have you changed toe in or out? any help would be great, as i can then use these as my starting point.

Cheers

Sundance
Camber is not adjustable on these cars.
I had the uprights machined and shimmed for camber adjustment, more for uneven tyre wear than anything else.
I managed to ruin a set of Pirelli Pzero corsas in less than 1500 miles eek
After the upright mods I managed >5000 miles with good even tyre wear.
Frankly unless you're going to use some "proper" hehe tyres on these cars you'll never really appreciate how good they are.
I really like the original fitment Corsas but they are hard to find these days, I'd try a set of AO48's as they will warm up a little quicker and be better when the conditions are cold (<7degrees for Corsas is bad news). The down side of these types of tyre is V rapid wear rate (probably less than 5000 for 48's) and most will "go off" before you have used half the tread depth.

Oh! don't hold your breath for MV to stump up for anything, they will just wriggle out of any obligation to you or your car, tossers IMO.

I thought they usually give you a plot at the flywheel rather than wheels... are you sure thats at the wheels as would make sense if its a flywheel figure?

I also have good recent no quibble experience from MV in resolving an albeit much smaller issue so maybe they have changed.
