Well, someone who knows about models anyway!
My girlfriend has just bought me this: http://www.mmcars.info/GinettaG4.htm
which I intend to build into a replica of this
my G4R racing car. However, the kit has come with no instructions! Can anyone tell me what the best glue to use is and somewhere I can buy roundels for the doors and bonnets?
Any other advice gratefully received.
Cheers, Paul

Large parts - epoxy.
Small parts - cyanoacrylate.
Really small parts - PVA.
One really good way of making white discs is to spray the area white first of all, then cut out circles from masking tape (Tamiya make a good one), attache them firmly then spray the main colour. Or try Grand Prix Models if you'd rather buy decals and apply those after painting, they do loads of accessories like that. Plus wheels, wipers and other bits.

The one on the left is rather sturdy isn't she.
Erm, anyway, I know this seems obvious, but how about asking the people who make it? Small companies like that are usually very approachable. Avoid using superglue (cyano) on anything with clear plastic, the fumes cause fogging.
I would, but they appear to parlez-vous no Anglais, or something along those lines!Erm, anyway, I know this seems obvious, but how about asking the people who make it? Thanks very much to all for the advice; much appreciated.

Waterslide decals can be made by designing them on a computer then printing onto decal paper which you can buy from www.craftycomputerpaper.co.uk - it comes in laser and inkjet versions, clear or white. BUT: You can't print white! Unless you have an ALPS printer, these are expensive as they're no longer made.
For white numbers, go to:
www.grandprixmodels.co.uk and click on Decals.

Craft decal paper is a bit hit and miss as well, best to import the BelInc Decal paper which as the added advantage of a blue backing paper so you can actually see what you've printed in white!
