Hi folks, merc heater related question, after a bit of help!
It's an m reg C180 heap but reliable, trouble is the interior heater blows hot all the time, i'm presuming it's something in the dash. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and before I hack the dash apart is there an easy ish fix?
Thanks in advance,
mike

Most likely to be a sticking heater valve, it's under the bonnet near the bulkhead.
You can often repair by taking the top off and removing the pistons to clean them up.

That certainly seems a good option, thanks. I'll have a root about. What does the box look like?

It's a double cylinder thing, about the size of two D cell batteries as I recall.
Follow the heater pipes to find it, the top can be removed by undoing the screws.
