Spotted these two on the M25 on Friday afternoon, one was being towed by a new Disco and the other by a new 90.

Both looked superb.

Sorry about the rubbish iPhone pics.

yes

I used to trial a 3lt V6 lightweight, never looked as good as that one though.

Both looked like they had just rolled out of a paint shop.

Would love to know how much a mint light weight is worth?

I'd have thought up to around £10k nowardays

I sold my series 1 1956 in similar condition for £4k in 2005 and should have held onto it because as well as missing it like mad it would probably be worth double that now.

The series 11 LtWt and pump tender look like part of the Dunsfold collection.

Landrovers don't look right unless they're covered in mud. Nice to see two that have been properly looked after though. Superb looking machines IMO.

This.

Dad's one was identical, shortly after it was demobbed in '76. He and I still regret not buying it when his work sold it for scrap in '85.

Try a Series I with the Rolls Royce B40 engine and you won't want the gardner anymore! biggrin
