Whilst holidaying in the glorious Loch Lomond and Trossachs area last week I spotted a fantastic looking and sounding old Ferrari being driven through Helensburgh by a distinguished looking older gentleman.

I'm not very familiar with the older Ferrari models and therefore thought that I would turn to the collective knowledge of my fellow PHers to help me to identify what it was.

I will endeavour to describe the vehicle as follows:

It was a hard top two door with what appeared to be four seats. The car had a long bonnet and a very upright nose. It had four long slim exhausts in two pairs at the rear. It was a light (almost silvery) blue colour.

My missus describes it as "not looking like a Ferrari", and I can sort of see what she means. It definitely was one though as I saw the badges.

So, any ideas?

Older than both, and MUCH better looking (with all due respect to any owners).

Good effort, knew it wouldn't take long on here!

What sort of ££ do they go for then?

Roughly 5yrs or so ago, you could pick up good condition 330 for £35k.

Double that now.

Which is a series 2 330 GT, the red car is a series 1 330GT . . . . . .just to confuse things, the 330 GT S1 followed the 330 GT America 2+2 which was essentialy a tweaked 250 GTE with the upgraded 330 motor smile

I must say I don't really like the front lights arrangement on the series 1 car, it looks a bit 'American'.

Thanks for the comments folks, every day is a school day on PH!
