Hello
I have recently bought a 1993 S spec eunos. It had no stereo in it when i got it. Having eventually found some compatible iso leads to attach stereo to the car, the head unit isnt receiving any power whatsoever. (The stereo works in another car)
All the leads and wires look to be intact.
Does anybody have any ideas how to fix this problem
cheers

Have you checked fuses?

You will probably find that the interior lights & ciggie lighter dont work as well. Check the fuse in the fuse box on the drivers side footwell. Remove the panel under the steering wheel & look up under. Remove the lid of the fuse box & check the bottom right fuse. If its not that look on the back of the stereo, there is sometimes a fuse on the rear.

i did check the fuses and nothing else seems to be broken ie everything else seems to be working.
maybe i will recheck the fuses again just in case.
the stereo works in another car so it is definitely not the stereo

Have you checked the wiring to see if there is any power? It would be simple enough to use a 12v bulb to test the 12v power supplies (permanent & switched - red & yellow I think).
