F355 cooling fan not working??
Discussion
The main cooling fan on the car does not seem to be kicking in when stood in traffic. luckily last time I used the car I'd get moving again before it got too high for comfort. Is the one that would also run whe the engine is off but ignition on when above a certain temp.
Anybody know if this is a common fault and if its an easy fix?

Also, the LHS (nearside) fan is controlled by water temp). The other one is controlled by oil temp (IIRC).
Oil cooler on the LHS (N/S) along with secondery water rad. Primery water rad on the RHS (O/S).Del 203 said:

replace the temp sender.
& its complete arse to get to on a hot engine in the middle of France
Try shorting the sender (nearside rad iirc) wires out to tell you if its that thats at fault
