Any votes for hampshire trimming?

Hi all

At the very least gonna get the seats re-covered in the Wedge, maybe more. Thinking of using Hampshire Trimming. Anyone any experience of them or know someone who has?

I don't know if they do or not, if they don't I know Fernies use a very good chap.

If it's the targa section then I have some black material if you fancy DIY. I haven't looked at it in four years but came with the car.

I think their view on the roof was "Yes we do, but they are a complete b@st@rd!"

Seats back and recovered, full leather, contrasting Sand (TVR called it cream!) and midnight blue. Interesting to note how little of the original "half leather" was actually, er, leather! We managed to get a near perfect match for the existing trim, which took a little extra time, but worth it. I think Mark and his colleague worked really hard.

I am very pleased with the results. They have made a beautiful job even under time pressure (needed seats finished for Le Mans this week)

He'll remember TVR customers then, cos I have given him a pretty tight deadline too with BBWF coming up. Less time now as well because the leather supplier let him down after saying they had stock, after 4 days of waiting for it to appear. Mark's been great though and still promising to meet deadline. Glad to hear yours are great, looks like we made a good choice of trimmer......

Strange that leather suppliers seem so inefficient. We had all sorts of trouble, including them sending the wrong colours altogether! But I think Mark pulled out all the stops to get it finished in time. There may have been a late night or two!

Got seats back last night. Mark's done a lovely job of them. Colour match to interior is very good. Only bad thing was getting them back in with all the spacers and washers. What a pig of a job. Combined with the carpet dye (Dylon) the interior definitely feels a better place to be in.

Definitely another vote for Hampshire Trimming!

If its not too ckeeky, roughly how much did it cost to do the seats? was it a full retrim? The seats in my t350 could do with some attention but i'd like to change the colour of them so would need full retrim.

Having lived with the new seats & colour scheme for a couple of weeks, I am even more happy with them now. Very high quality leather, beautifully double stitched and the seats re-padded. The cabin is an even nicer place to be
And I think reasonably priced too.

Everyone that's asked how much they cost says how reasonable the price seemed.
Thinking about getting something done soon with the door cards to make them a bit more interesting. No doubt about who I'll get to do them.

Brilliant, thanks. The whole atmosphere at the Classic is great, everyone there for the same reason, no antisocial behaviour. Would definitely do that again. The laps were fantastic - topped out at over 120 on the Mulsanne straight.
