It has a screw that tightens the throttle up.Maybe yours is too tight if it has one?

Whats the hp? Once i know that i'll be able to picture the engine better. I assume its tiller control, if so its a cable that runs straight to the carb, check that hasn't popped out of its routing thus restricting the the throttle shutting.
Wont gas on anymore, let me know the hp as that will help, also as its 3 months old (and fourstroke as well?) take it back to the dealer if you have a nice one as its under warranty so they should take a look at it there and then, well i know i used to anyway!
