Nice Areas to live in Oxford

Anyone here have any experience of living in Oxford? I'd appreciate any info/opinions on nice areas to live? At the moment I'm looking at:

Sommertown (lovely, but expensive)
Jericho (seems a bit more Bohemian, bit expensive)
Cowley (a bit more urban)
Headington (Nice houses in places but no real hub, it seems)

I think you've picked the best areas there. North Oxford generally is expensive and Jericho quite studenty and noisy. I used to live in Summertown but prefer Jericho for the social scene. Headington a bit more family orientated.

As said above, these are all the nicest areas in North Oxford.

I actually went to school in Summertown and love it there, plus it is really is a nice place to be.

I have lived in Headington, Summertown (still have property there) and Jericho. All fine and ok. Personally I like North Oxford the best.
