Right then.. i have downloaded a site template and i have put my info on it for the front page as you can see here
BUT all the little pictures and borders etc are all X?? how do i get across that?? help please

Looks to me like you have only uploaded the template to your website not all the pics which those "X" point to

could be wrong though

When i copy the url and paste to the address bar i get an error message

You sure you saved all the files into the main page folder.

there just all in the main folder with the homepage.htm file

Are they not in a sub folder called images?

Nah, what you gotta do it set up your files so its something like:

main folder ==> images ==> pic

The way you have the links set up your browser is looking for the images in the 'images' folder not the main folder where your index page is.

Yes the images are in with the index and everythign else is that wrong??

Yes if you look at the way you have your link it is pointing to the 'images' folder, if they are not in there the browser will show the red cross because it can't find them by itself it needs to be pointed in the right direction.
