there must be around 10 sellers on the classified section, i reported three, but the admin decided not to take action, they are all in big stuff, combi vans section, alex orlando , enrnest orlat, and a few others there so easy to spot, with the to good to be true prices, but when pointed out to the admin in the classified, they ignore it,
this site is getting worse than ebay for these tossers, someone needs to sit up and listen or no one will use it for buying soon

We deal with hundreds of thousands of adverts a month, and some problem ads to slip through the net, but all reported adverts are investigated.
I suggest that you report any suspicions to adverts@pistonheads.com for a more immediate response. We do take scam ads seriously, I can assure you of that.

i have, the one i answerd was removed, the others i pointed out in combi vans were all left on the site, and still are, there are three blokes, or one bloke, three names, alex orlando, ernest lorat, and harry mathers,
it shouldnt be for a member of the forum to point these out, they are more than obvious that the prices are to good to be true,
i have messaged the three of them, answers from 2 saying the vehicles are in italy, and pay money by moneygram,

PH exists through a large amount of reader input over the last 12 years. You're right it's not your job to point these problem ads out, but we appreciate it when you do. it shouldnt be for a member of the forum to point these out, they are more than obvious that the prices are to good to be true,

I have worked in UK for the last 1 years and I've purchased the car there. My company wanted me back home, so currently I'm in Rome, Italy. I've bring the car home with me. I decided that is better to sell it because I don `t use it anymore (the wheel is on right side and is very difficult for me to drive it in Italy) and it `s a pitty to keep such a car and not to use it.
I realize that is a cheap price for such a car but my special situation makes me do things that I wouldn't do in normal circumstances.
The price I am looking for my car is £4,200 including the shipping costs,insurance and handling(delivery to EUROPE).
You will not have to pay additional taxes for this.

If you hit the "Report to administrator" link in the top right of an advert then it will be removed from the classifieds (although the direct link will still work) until one of us in the office has chance to look at it.
Assuming it is a scam, it will then be permanently rejected and everyone who contacted the advert will be warned.
We do not ignore these reports and every single one is read and acted upon.

Unfortunately, there are people who are quite silly and will easily part with their money. You are doing the right thing by highlighting these ads. However, maybe an original post that highlighted the problems, without the silly comments, would have been better?
