My GTR parts/options list and estimated costs

Car has now cleared customs (7 days from arriving in Houston)... Awaiting delivery in Denver

I have outlined the costs, as I know them today. These are estimates, but close estimates.

Here are the stages, options and associated costs...

Add to that:

US Customs Bond Service - $270.25
Customs agent fee - $495
Courier Fee - $45.00
Additional Classification Fee - $95.00
Destination Charges - $205.02

Shipping from Houston to Denver - $1,428
Total cost: - $57,580.39

So, Additional parts planned will be:
Steering wheel ~ $300
5 point harnesses ~ $200
Tires ~ $1300
Battery ~ $100
Clutch ~ $750
Engine - 450 HP EFI ~ $7,000
G50 long ~ $2,200

Total additional cost on items not ordered from factory ~ $11,850

Total estimated cost of GTR ~ $69,787

This does not include oil, underpainting/undercoating, misc fasteners, tools, extras like alarm, battery cut off, Woks, etc.

DISCLAIMER:
This also does not include all of the dinners, wine, clothing, jewelry, vacations to Jamaica, down payment on her Lotus Elise, and miscellaneous bribe money needed to get the wife to go along with the build in the first place. This may vary from wife to wife and your tolerance for innuendo, complaining and the level of comfort your couch provides for extended stays.

This is more or less the same $$ figure I came up with when I did my Excel spreadsheet.

I think I was figuring a little more due to engine selection, and estimated "misc" costs.

I figured $75k was reasonable.
