Sorry, I've tried Google translate but that doesn't help either - what's the problem with your BMW speakers?

I'm not sure anyone can answer your question as what you've typed doesn't make sense. Maybe ask the question again a different way.

Let me try to sort this mess out --

Good evening fellow PHers. I have very recently installed some Infinity 6x9 speakers in the rear of my vehicle. However, the front speakers are drastically letting the sound down. What I am wondering is, what size are the front speakers so I can "upgrade" them too? Also, would a blaupunkt amp be sufficient for the job in hand?

Any better? laugh

Hi Chick0961.

firstly, let me say we're not ALL dicks here smile

Which model 330d is it? (e46, etc).

However, you should be able to find ALL the information you need on this website:

Serious answer: Don't bother. I have been there before and it just isn't worth the effort, never mind the expense.

The front door speakers are mounted to the door cards and any increase in size or increase in wattage delivered to the speakers results in the door cards vibrating and resonating. BMW use an odd size, but commercially produced adapters are readily available to fit more conventional sizes should you chose to ignore my sincere warnings.

The only way to effectively increase the sound quality from the front speakers is to cut holes in the metal inner panel and mount the speakers directly to the door. I dare say that if you saw what was involved in doing this you would think it easier to just get rid of car.
