Can anyone recommend an Independent BMW Specialist within a maximum of 1 hour drive from the Farnborough/Camberley areas? I'm after routine servicing and repairs on a 330Ci Sport, ideally using genuine BMW parts.

I've seen the link below, but if anyone has any others not listed here (or has recent personal experience of any of the ones listed), it would be good to hear it.

I'm after an excellent specialist who knows the car very well and can diagnose any issues. I'm looking to keep the car for many years, so it would be good to know and use an independent specialist for all repairs and servicing.

Many thanks.

I'd also like to know as well, in the Wokingham area so not far from the OP.

Barwell Motorsport http://www.barwellmotorsport.co.uk/content/index.a... have just started German Car servicing with OEM parts - top engineers, very reasonably priced and you get to see some great bits of kit in the garage.
Ask Chris Needell for details

Yep someone else recommended Chris Plummer on here recently, not used them myself but bookmarked in case they're needed.

Would also recommend Chris, he has done work on both of the BMW's I've owned and seems to know everything there is to know about the cars. Shame he doesn't do a courtesy car though...

I had an intermittent non start issue last week which was diagnosed as a faulty camshaft sensor by Richard Barker, behind Haslemere Station -

I was very impressed and cant recommend him highly enough. Very knowledgeable, many years BMW experience, and a very reasonable labour rate.
And a complimentary wash and hoover thrown in as well!

Barkers in Haslemere, had my E90 serviced there 2 weeks ago, very professional (Actually seemed to be interested in the car and we had a good chat), well priced.

Overall will be using again and again, and i live about a 5mins walk away which is always good.

I actually look forward to paying Barkers to service my car, it will be the first time that I've not serviced a car myself after driving for 5 years!
