Had a bit of a moment with a french bird - the feathered type (unfortunately/fortunately?? laugh) on my way back from le mans last week:

Fortunately just broke a bit of the plastic thing inside the mouth, and chipped a bit more away from my knackered bumper (glad i didnt get it fixed before i went!)

Could have made a nice dent in the radiator but luckily no more expense caused (after cop relieved me of 90E...)

Years a go I hit a pheasant in my Integrale EVO2 at about 90 leptons; it was crossing the road and I would have missed it if it had kept on going; unfortunately it stopped on my side of the road and turned to see what the noise was (it was the turbo on-boost..)

I hit a pigeon while riding a motorbike once (I was on the motorbike, not the pigeon laugh) - it hit me in the chest! That really hurt, winded me badly and caused a BIG bruise. I was lucky not to break any ribs!

Just made a grill for my MK1 over the weekend with some left over mesh.

10 minute job, sprayed it black and tie wrapped it in.

A lot happier now the rad has some protection

Must say after 1040 miles of 'enthusiastic driving' the car feels better than ever, no hiccups along the way (other than the french wildlife and le plod...)

Keeping up with these 2 was entertaining in my 1.6 laugh
