Chaps,

I'm off to Brands in a few weeks and need to stop overnight somewhere in order to make the most of the trip. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm coming from the north so somewhere in the Dartford area which has safe parking would be awesome.

Many thanks,

Andy

There is a Marriot right next to the entrance of the track! You won't find closer than being able to walk to the track!

I'll check the pricing on the Marriott but I was thinking shoestring budget as it's coming on the back of Goodwood FoS, Le Mans Classic, Cholmondeley PoP, Silverstone Classic on consecutive weekends then Goodwood Breakfast Club the next day - all being commuted from Leeds.

Cheers for the suggestion though, I'll get on it!

I stayed at the Black Horse in Stansted last year (Stansted Kent not Stansted Essex) and it was excellent. Basic certainly, in a room-over-a-pub way, but they do very tasty Thai food in the evening (cooked by Thai staff) and super fry-ups in the morning (cooked by the landlady). Only 5-10 minutes drive from Brands Hatch I think.

That's what I'm talking about! Cheers buddy. Just need to finalise my arrangements and I'll get onto them.

I can recommend the 7 hotel and dinner http://www.7hoteldiner.co.uk/ if you want something a little different!

The food in the 60s dinner is excellent and the rooms really imaginatively done.

I think they have a lockable car park too.

It is about a 10 - 15 Minute drive to Brands

My local, Bull Hotel at Wrotham is good - 10 minutes drive away from Brands. Good food, and your car will be very safe there.

The Marriot often does trackday rates, we got £60 for single B&B and £70 for double when we ran there in Feb and they serve an early cooked brekie biggrin

ETA, you can also usually leave your car/trailer etc at the circuit overnight if you check with them in advance.
