Is it possible to cycle the entire circuit ?

Another (potentially daft...) question if I may.
Is it possible, say on the Thursday evening or Friday morning, to cycle round the whole lap of the circuit ? For example, if we started at the Porsche curves, could we cycle up the pit straight and under the Dunlop bridge round to Tetre Rouge ?
Or is there stuff going on which would prevent that ? Or even, would the security bods get grumpy ?

A few years ago whilst on the Friday morning pits walkabout there was a group of profesional looking cyclists posing for photos on the start line. Didn't notice whether they carried on around the circuit afterwards but there are a lot of officials in the pits area so I guess that they would pull you off the track at that point. You might not have a problem with the Porsche curves bit, plenty of access there at the bridge over the Arnage road.

We have an annual friday afternoon cycle around the length of the circuit (with a few stops for refreshments along the way). The Gendarmes are happy to wave us through at Mulsanne and onto Indy and Arnage corner, but we have never managed to persuade the security guards on the barriers across the circuit at Porsche curves to allow us to continue.
Not sure about the Classic, but with the return of the practice day next year, you might get lucky. I did three laps with Doug Fehan from Corvette Rracing a couple of years ago on the Saturday evening, and came across several of the drivers walking the circuit. One of the reasons they stop you from getting to the Ford chicane is because a lot of the teams have photo shoots there, and it gets the PR people and snappers really irate to have someone giving a 'salute' as they cycle by!
for the main race - I've ridden the circuit (closed sections) on a goped, c90 and as pillion on a 600 ninja on the tuesday before the race over the last 15 years.
Maisin Blanche camping is required to get a petrol vehicle in and the gate before the ford chicane is ususally open.
