has anyone seen this yet? the premium network service from playstation. what are peoples thoughts on it? will people who dont subscribe still got everything they get now or are they going to start losing out on stuff? noticed the terms and conditions thing pop up last night but it was way too long to read!

i tried to read a bit about it but got bored half way through, i think if yo sign up to the plus (premium~) service you get discounts on the store plus full game trials etc!!!

Any idea how much it is going to be? I noticed that it will turn your ps3 on for you and download updates and DLC etc. But nowhere does it mention a price. I don't think I'll bother to be honest. It's not too hard to turn it on and download stuff whilst at work or in bed.

i'm sure i read somewhere it is about £11.99 for three months or £40 for the year.

It's $50 for a 1-year subscription in the USA.

Anyone going to get it? I think I probably will.

That will probably mean £50 here then. The way that the crap international pricing works.

If it is that much I won't bother. Mainly because I'd rather dig my eggbox out of retirement and you get party chat.
It PSN gets party chat sorted I'll gladly pay for it.

If you watch the E3 vid it will tell you what it does.

You will be able to do everything you do know without the service.

However if you subscribe you will get auto updates for games/system (I think it just downloads them as you play) plus free game add ons/DLC, try games for a month before you buy them and free mini games.
