Andy Barnett, Newbury - Where's he gone?

[Sym7]

I used to deal with Andy Barnett at Mercedes of Newbury for my cars but I've just found out he's left to go to "another brand". I know this is a long shot but does anyone know him and know where he's gone?

Isn't it a major pain when you find a decent car salesman, build up a good relationship and they leave?

Used to deal with a guy at the old BMW dealer in Bolton who was brilliant.

Good luck.

Yeah, it's a pain. I really trust him and always worked hard to get a win/win. He was always genuinely delighted to get the business and I was always happy for him.

Mercedes of Newbury claim they don't know where he's gone which, of course, is unlikely - they just don't want to let me know because they know his loyal customers would follow. I've trawled the net and can't find a trace for him (i thought he'd have facebook or linkedin - but nothing). I'll keep trying.

Probably a (very) long shot but have you tried ringing up a few dealers local to Newbury of marques like Mercedes? ie BMW, Audi, Jaguar etc etc.....
