Nose / bumper Protection.
Discussion
Folks,
I am thinking of getting one of those mesh / fabric nose cones, bumper protectors. Has anyone got an idea of their official name and suggestions of where to get one from.
My reasoning is that one the Turbo is installed, I want to create a cut out above the number plate to give more air circulation around the engine bay.
The nose cone could do with a bit of touching up, so fitting one of these will prevent me having the nose re sprayed for a bit and also cover the additional vent I will be creating.
Thanks for your help.

Cheers Guys,
What other options do I have to create an opening in the front to provide some additional air flow once the turbo is installed.
No need. The opening is big enough as it is. A bigger radiator would be of more benefit and if you are going to use it on track, an oil-cooler.What other options do I have to create an opening in the front to provide some additional air flow once the turbo is installed.

You can get headlamp covers with vents in for mark 1s, or a cold air induction kit. Just get some flexible hose taking air from low down up to the intake.
You could also fit these http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/product_info.php/product...on motorbikes (back in the day) we used too either lower and tilt the radiator and get cooler air from above the radiator, cut a hole through the radiator (it would have to be professionally done, it needs to be pressure tested to check the welds) or get a custom rad made (usually 3-4 smaller stock rads welded together and pressure tested).
An option on the mx5 would be to get a couple of smaller more efficient rads and replace the old large unit to create a space at the side where the air intake is, then cut a hole through the bumper and fit a bit of pipe, for best effect the pipe would need to stick out a little to get cleaner air not effected by the shape of the nose cone
TBH i dont think you would really see that much of a benefit for the cost.
ETA - A better option might be a bit of pipe into the wheel arch or out under the bumper if all you require is cooler air.
