Seven times in one day! SEVEN! They have called and called and i keep telling them i dont want duel fuel and i just want gas. Yet they keep calling.

I have complained twice in the year and it has stopped it for a month at most and the calls start again.

ARGHHHHH.

TPS is as good as useless these days.

If you already get gas from them you're a customer, so TPS won't help.

You just have to be as rude as possible to them in the hope they'll get sick of being abused when they call you.

Or just switch to another supplier.

It's not British Gas that's calling you. They contract the marketing out.
When they next call ask for the caller's manager and raise hell with him/her.
Get them to remove you from their database or you'll report them to BG and the calls should stop. Mine have.

I had this, non stop calling from British Gas trying to get me to go dual fuel.

I sorted it by calling BG and telling them to stop, I think I got through to different people.

I was told there was a marketing option on my account which I could choose to opt out of.

Since then no more calls.

They have called me dozens of time now, twice I have eventually picked it up, told them I already have dual fuel and they then move on to try and flog me some insurance. Tell them to remove from the list and bog off!

Is the number you received those calls on it?

No. Exactly. Sure, some dodgy companies don't adhere, but British Gas would.

If you have a contract with BG then surely the TPS would make no difference.

BG are allowed to call their customers.

Speak to BG and ort out of marketing.

Told them to remove me from the database when they called today. An hour later the SAME person called. He sounded confused when i confronted him.

You need to call them, not ask them when they call you.
