Worked out how much petrol we used from Kent to Le Man, a trip on saturday night to Arnage viewing area then home again to north Kent. Worked out at exactly £120 for the 700 odd mile run. Computer says 29 MPG overall. Thats in a Renaultsport 200 cup, 2 ugly blokes and a car full of camping gear. Not bad.

Wigan to Folkestone to Le Mans to Lille to Wigan!

1300 miles in total in a 993 C2. £250 which is about 25mpg. Not too shabby considering 2 up and stacked from front to back in camping equipment etc. Its amazing what you can fit in if you try!

Did 1300 miles and averaged 25mpg with 300 miles to a tank.

Ouch, that's going to be about £300 with Autoroute prices!

Computer said 29.4 mpg but Bromley/LM/Bromley on five tanks - say 300 litres - suggests otherwise.

I managed an impressive 24.5 mpg...In a Focus.

Smiles per gallon just don't stack up. Since I got back I've actually been thinking of swapping it for something boring and frugal or something equally uneconomical but a lot more fun!

roughly 1700 miles averaging 30mpg which was great considering the bmw was filled to the brim

Ouch! I was doing over 40 in mine on the way down. 2.0 petrol though rather than an ST!

The two bikes stood up on the roof didn't really help matters, plus they stopped me from getting my toe down.
