Chris as you might have heard my cars a bit loud at the moment for track days but needing to do some badly soon so trying to sort the noise out..

how do you quieten your lola??

Fantastic show i did not know excisted. Gave out a few ultima brouchures as well but could not put up their banner as there was nowhere to hang it.

A friend said it would be up my street as i used to run Hotrods and very well know for doing burnouts as i left..Haha brought back memories. Cant believe how many people were there and how many women..

Will be back next year and probably still single!!!.

i ended up fitting 2 sports cats i got 2nd hand between the headers and backboxes just to kill the noise and its just about ok for trackdays at 103-104db @ 4500rpm. i run a carb so the cats arent really there for emissions, just noise reduction, they are the free flowing type so it hasnt harmed power in any way. (405@ hubs last time)

did you build yours yourself, (havent read your thread i'm afraid?)
ultimas are my fav car along with gt40s and of course lola t70s

let me know if you are doing anything local etc if you wouldnt mind?

dont know if you'd be interested but a group of us often hire curbrough sprint track for our own use (no noise regs on those days!) and split the cost between us, if you fancy it? usually about 55-60quid per car with 10 cars there. we have about 6 cars so far for the nxt one already, has to be midweek tho (tuesdays).

i used to run the 200 plus club (hence the moniker) and we used to meet 1st monday each month at the carbrook hall, a few of us still do so to have a beer/talk cars. was suprised to find out there are some decent supercars in the area as its usual to see the max power type brigade lol!
