What Leccy Noise?

Re: The vid of the new leccy SLS. strikes me that the new leccy cars are going to have problems with having no noise at all. Pedestrians, and boredom etc Which I think will mean that owners of silent leccy cars will have to download "noises" for their cars.

A Prius "started" and moved off in a car park the other day and I heard it just fine. It was odd but obvious.

I don't buy the pedestrian argument. Once a modern car is going fast enough to be dangerous, the majority of the noise it makes is come from the tyres and air flow anyway.
