Been with SKY+HD for a year now and am considering a multiroom subscription.

Now I clearly already have a HD Sky+ box and would replace the main room with the terrabite box with the idea of the old box going into the multiroom.

Can this be done?
Can you still view 2 seperate channels per box i.e. if we wanted a total of 4 different recordings at once if we really wanted?

AS i understand if you have HD you already have a quad LNB, so in theory you can receive 4 feeds, which should answer your question as yes.

But i'm not sure that the 4th one is enabled, or can be used in this manner.

I have multiroom and +HD, but just a standard box upstairs.

Sorry, no real help at all after reading that back other than in theory, yes!

We've got Sky HD in the front room and Sky+ in the kitchen - all from the same dish.

is that what you mean?

The other thing is clearly I would need to buy the terrabite box £249 and then I physically own the Sky+HD box as had a years contract so in theory I could cancel and retain the box we currently have.

With Multiroom IF you have the full package in the main room will that be replicated in the multiroom or do you have to have seperate subscriptions?

Really fancy multiroom as our rooftop ariel is non digital and useless reception so a £10pcm subscription would be £120p.a. and getting the roof ariel replaced has been quoted at c£150.

No I mean SKY+ HD in more than one room.
I currently have the SKY+HD box and want the terrabite box so the idea would be big box main room old SKY+HD box in the 2nd reception room.

We have a Sky+box and a Sky HD+ running off a Quad LNB.

IIRC Sky will charge 1 x multiroom plus 2 x HD subs if you want two HD boxes though frown

really!! If that's the case why don't they charge for double sports or whatever?

Because you're already paying for Multiroom, so you get whatever your primary feed gets, but in another room. As the poster above said, you'll be charged for an extra HD subscription.
