I have been asked to do some work on a 60 page document from a very well known international company, and it is absolutely chock full of business jargon bull
t, to the extent that I need to discuss it with like-minded individuals or my head is going to explode (the team I'm working with do this stuff for a living and from all experiences lap this stuff up).
My favourite line is in the "Description of Work" heading, where the company is detailing what they require of their service providers. Point one is as follows:
king serious? What does that actually mean?!
Point two of their requirments:
After that it gets slightly better with terms that come close to actually mean something to normal people.
I thought this sort of stuff was limited to small entrepreneurial companies run by an egomaniac with an excess of self-confidence over ability, but this is in an official document from a very large multi-national that most on here will have heard of.
What is the world coming to?
