Weeping washer jet

Anyone ever had problems with their washer jets weeping water?

I get my bonnet all waxed up and after a drive, theres a little dribble of water coming from the os washer jet which eventually grows and descends down the bonnet leaving a trail.

Washer reservoir is nowhere near full.

Do mk1s have the same fitment, 2x grey twin jet nizzles?

I've seen this mentioned before - I think it might have been something like a blocked breather hole in the washer bottle lid...
