Ex-Petrolheads? Perhaps they used to drive a Triumph Stag and now can only afford to drive a blue Micra. They watch the traffic to see if any flash motors go by.

Or they are just senile.

Maybe they're on the lookout for timewarp examples of vehicles they owned 43 years ago?

It's either that or countdown or that orange man who sells antiques.

Given those life choices I think I'd throw my wife off the bridge and follow her shortly afterwards.

hehe

I'm ashamed to say during my period as unemployed, in my quest to do anything to keep busy, I did traffic surveying.

Probably the worse day of my life. Got taken over the pennines in a mini bus and just dumped on the edge of a st estate in Blackburn, with a clipboard, pen and chair.

It pissed it down all fking day, my smokes got wet, i couldnt find anywhere to buy food or more cigs. All for minimum fking wage. They offered me again (It was through an agency) and I told them no.

What are you meant to be surveying though ?volume of traffic or something completely different.

I reckon it could of being the amount of people inside the cars.

Might as well of being for car colour or something equally as pointless. No idea what the results were used for.
