Just had my post removed, I asked if my car was correctly priced in the classifieds as i've not even had a tyre kicker.

I put a link to the advert in the post, I take it this is against the rules?

Plus a post removed in the Bmw section(Link also to classified advert) to see if anyone fancied a swap, also against the rules?

It's not that unusual to have this type of post removed as it breaks a few rules.

1. Cross posting the same topic across a variety of forums
2. Linking to your own advert in the classifieds
3. Promoting that your car is available to swap

The main reason for doing this is to encourage use of the classifieds (which still has a free option) for anything to do with car sales, and we do have people in the office who look after the classifieds that you can contact with any questions you might have.

Don't worry, it doesn't 'mark your card' or take you towards a ban, we simply remove them as a matter of course as if everyone did it we'd be inundated with ads.

Ads of this type shouldn't run on the forums, so if you do see any then we must have missed them

How do i ask peoples opinion if my car is correctly priced then?

We've had loads of posts in the recent past along the lines of 'sad to see my car go but.....and here's a link to the classifieds' Shirly by the very act of just asking the question he would be generating more interest in the classifieds by getting people to re-direct there? We've also seen posts asking exactly the same thing where (hopefully) the op has received good advice and changed the ad to help sell. These forums are a discussion platform after all where postive help is willingly given and it doesn't seem as though Smithy's after taking the michael to me.

Ok, my car is in the classifieds, silver, 21k, sag engine.

Price too low, too high, about right? What are your thoughts please.

At 1st I didn't want to sell, so at originally 23k was probably over priced, sale now required, hence 2k off.

Smithy - I had a look at your car when i was in the market for a T350. Really liked yours but was a bit over by budget, i did send you an email.

The car has had a lot of money spent on it but then again a lot of that is maintenance issues IMO.

You have described the car and works competed very well, but there was a couple of things that putme off.

Your car has no air-on. Was advised that this is a must in this car as the cabin gets very hot and boy am i glad i did get ac now!

Also, your car has done quite a lot of miles albeit now with a new upgraded engine.

I think the car is now priced accordingly now you have reduced it. Expect £20k for it imo.
