How many errors can you spot? (The mis-spelling of 'customer' is not a great start)

Why is it that, whenever I read this, I can only hear the voice of 'George Addeekaquango' from Facejacker in my head?

Why is it that for every piece of junk mail I get and delete, someone else posts one up and tries to make a thread showing off thier own junk mail.
I have never understood the urge to do this.

The second sentence should either be taken out of brackets and have a full stop after it, or placed before the question mark.

The characters name is George Agdgdgwngo. He's also in Fonejacker, not Facejacker.

I think what's really sad is that people still fall for these things, and that is why they keep sending them out.

hehe

From the man that brought us such captivating threads such as:

Where's my badge?

Oi Jimbeaux!

...and not forgetting the hugely popular...

Thurleigh Airfield

People in glass houses shouldn't throw orgies.

wink

The reason for posting it was that it was the poorest example of a scam I have ever seen, and I thought it slightly amusing just how poor an attempt it was. I appreciate you don't share this view, but then again I didn't find your thread on some old cargo ship being taken out of service at all interesting, and so I didn't bother posting on that thread.

There are always going to be threads that don't interest you, or those that you feel are a waste of time/bandwidth, but if you feel the need to post on them all saying so, you'll have very little time posting on threads you do like.

  1. The first thread is a long running BTaP tradition fool
  2. Even that was more interesting to the people online at the time
  3. Just because no-one replied doesn't mean no-one contacted me.
ETA. the cargo ship thread was in the boats forum and people found it interesting, no-one found you posting a scam email interesting, in the same way people couldn't give a toss what i ate.

Actually I make, sell and rent costumes so it was probably meant for me and isn't an error at all.
Please PM me with the email as a forward, I am very concerned about fraud.
