Buying camera stuff in China?

Hi Guys,
I'm off to China in two weeks for a 3 week trip round the big bits of China. I was just wondering if I was going to find any bargain lenses, filters or such the like out there. Any tips if I do? Warranties on lenses for example I imagine won't be worth the paper they're written on back here? Anywhere particularly in Shanghai and Beijing you can recommend thats worth looking for lenses in particular? I'm toying with the idea of a 70-200 f/2.8 or maybe a 24-70 f/2.8 (probably both of the Sigma variety) but anything interesting and cheap would be nice to find too. Or am I wasting my time?

Does your Sigma lens have an International warranty? I am looking to buy one of your lenses and I’m working overseas for a couple of months. I wanted to check whether Sigma UK will still cover lenses brought from outside the UK?
Sigma lenses do come with a 1 year international warranty, however, the warranty is only honoured if VAT and duty have been paid on importation into the UK, otherwise it is an illegal import. Once these taxes have been taken into account, our customers usually find it better value to buy an official UK imported lens. Sigma UK also offer an extended 2 year warranty on all EX lenses which have been imported through us. For further details click here.
