My wife has decided that she wants to sell her mini cooper. Although the car wil be 4 years old in September it has racked up only 11,000 miles in that time. Going in for only its second service next week (time rather than mileage). She has another car for longer runs so modern min sits in the garage most weekends. Looking at Pistonheads `cars for sale` similar cars have typically 30,000 - 40,000 miles on the clock. What sort of difference does low mileage make to the selling price or does it mean hers should just be a more attractive proposition to a potential buyer. The car is Black Eyed Purple with an aero kit, 17 in wheel, Goodyear Eagles (run flats sitting in garden shed) and all the usual essential extras.

It dose make the value a bit higher. There are some web sites (parkers etc) that can give you some idear, But in the end its what the market is like in your area.

Check out the approved ones & you'll get an idea of the differences Dealers have (I would have thought 1-2k more as a very rough guess)

Low mileage means people will look at yours first. It does not invite a higher price unfortunately.
