We have to get rid of one of our cars, but which one?

1995 Toyota Celica 2.0GT
Mileage 84,000
MOT March 2011
Personal plate
4 new tyres, new clutch June 2009, new battery
Needs about £250 to get rid of scratches on front wing
No Aircon

2001 Alfa Romeo 156 Veloce 2.5V6
Mileage 111,000
MOT June 2011
New top suspension arms, new battery
Radiator will need replacing soon
Climate control and Leather

Both cars probably similar value, any thoughts about selling price? I think around £1,400.

Keep the Celica, Alfa's are nice but out of those two it would be the Celica.

Keep the Alfa - Old Toyotas (even Celicas) are just old Toyotas, the 156 is a design classic.

I think they're listed head and heart respectively.

For me it'd be an absolute no-brainer, keep the Alfa. I don't think I could quite bear to see it go and the Celica stay, if it were me. Thinking with your brain is overrated wink

In terms of which one I like more, then the Alfa is much nicer. I presume this is the "thinking with heart," car.
If however it might imminently blow up, keep the Celica...

Why?

I can't honestly think of a more bland boring car than a diesel Golf.
