S3C ELECTICAL LOOM??????

refitted the body to the chassis and at the point of reconnecting the electrics in the engine bay, all going well bar one connector plug ???
the small loom which breaks out of the main loom runs towards the engine bulkhead with 2 plugs .the large plug fits into the small box screwed to the bulkhead with a small pipe that also plugs into it <S3C> only i think .iam left with a 2 pin plug and scatching my head any help cheers kev

I have just had a look at my s3c and struggling to see what you mean, the only other connecter near that box you mentioned is the dizzy one and that is massive with loads of wires, a photo would probably highlight the culprit.

HI Tony,can you please check, from the plug which plugs into the box on the bulkhead follow the wires back towards the conduate and the loom tees of 2 small cables approx 8" long to a small 2 pin plug hope this makes sence kev

Hi Kev,

Have a look at a previous thread I started called "She just wont start" Sorry dont know how to link.

The plug your referring to goes to the fuel rail temp sensor which we dont have,well at least I dont any way.

I taped mine up in the loom.Job Done!

That would make sense as all other wires in the vicinity you speak off go to the injectors and the fuel rail etc, good luck

the car turns over and starts ,one happy chap,just the small time consuming jobs to finish off .this confirms the extra connector is not used on the tivs thanks again kev
