Picked up 1994 Chimaera 4 litre last Friday. Big Treacle says he did 1,000 miles in a week. That's alot of miles, I only managed just over half that with two trips to Norfolk and one to Romford. What a car though! Every time I go out, I get excited. On the trip down the A12 to Romford it did about 2,500 revs all the way and easily kept up with the flow of traffic (mpg good as well). It's still fun even when only burbling along. People I don't usually talk to at work have expressed an interest in the car, it's wierd. With all the info on PistonHeads, I've already started planing Leven bits, rolling road set up, noisier exhaust, etc. May have to get secret savings account. Sorry, no real point to topic, but still really chuffed.

Now see if you can pop down the shops for a pint of milk without going for a quick blast! Just wait til summer, they get twice as good
I know the feeling well!
Any excuse for a run.
Three miles to my nearest shop, but I always seem to come back the 'pretty' way and do about 25 miles in total.
Makes a pint of milk a bit expensive though; it'd be cheaper to stay at home and knock back a pint of Créme de Menthe.
My 5,000 mile annual insurance limit is looking a bit doubtful as well...................

I know that feeling well too! Had to up mine from 15 to 25K!
When I come to change my car next year it'll be a bargain well used one. Mile for mile tho, I think my TVR has been the most reliable car I've owned (and the most expensive..... and easily the most fun!!).
Cheers
