Sites near Brighton for Landscape shots?
Discussion
Hi!
I'm going to head down to the coast tonight to practise taking some Landscape shots.
Can anyone recommend any killer locations to shoot from along the coast around Brighton way - I'll be driving down the A23 from London so anywhere nearish along that route would be great.
Appreciate any ideas!
Cheers
Marc

There's almost too many to list!
As you're coming down via the A23 Devil's Dyke could be a suitable stopping point:

There are beautiful views of the South Downs to the west, the Hog's Back to the northwest and also north across the Wield. It gets a bit busy up there though so you may have trouble parking.
There's also Ditchling Beacon which has more views of the Sussex Wield as well as northwest Sussex:

In Brighton itself you've got the two piers, the West Pier is very touristy and the other one's rusting in to the sea but still photogenic.
If you want landscape pictures of Brighton itself you could try taking some shots from the harbour arms at Shoreham:

Good luck!
