The time has come. Wife pregnant girlfriend, the car is on its way for sale ARGHHHH!!!
ive had so much fun driving it and looked after it well. Put so much time and love into this car.. and a shed loada money keeping it sweet. Will be well sad to see it go, im looking at other cars on the net and i just dont feel anything for the mile crunching baby cruizing cars, nothing tickles me fancy as much as it did when i was looking around for the lotus. mayb get a toy one instead for the baby at least i then still get to say im cruizing around in a lotus lol.

Compromise and get yourself a baby mobile (Zafira type vehicle), believe me you will need the space, rugrats carry so much baggage and an older Lotus. I got myself an Elan and love it. Bought both from the sale of my Exige and still had a little cash left.

We traded in the wifelets Rover Mini for a 5dr Golf (V6) and I've got a Passat Estate now as a workhorse, kept the Elise and its in bits at the moment as I'm getting the interior smeared in alcantara (photo's will be posted). We took our 4wk old away for a week as I was away with work and we FILLED the estate, so I reckon you'll struggle with anything smaller unless you're very good at packing.

As others have said keep the Elise as your car, and get a family car for 'er indoors hehe

If you're looking to free up some equity swap into an S1 Elise

Ad looks fine to me Ant, except I had a look at interior photo to see what an alcantara centre console looks like and not sure that it is alcantara...........or am I missing something?

Woooo got spotted, famous! lol...

I hate selling cars, it attracts so many muppets.. Ive had 2 times wasters so far, 1 no show, 2 canvessers and 1 scammer claiming he will give me the asking price and will pay by paypal without even seing the car. Researched his email on google and he has been sending many other car sellers the same email.

Joys of car selling!

I got my Elise, just after the little one was born... he's just turned 1, and he loves it. I feel his love will get stronger and stronger too.

We have loads of nice outings together mainly round the Kent roads, and to Brands Hatch to watch some racing.

In a year and a bit when the little one is older you will want another to "share" with he/r.
