What is the best smell from a car, I always like freshly thrashed Pinto, a whiff of uncatalysed exhaust, 70's vinyl interior, new car smell and Feu Orange (cant you still get them ?)

I dont like the smell of any diesel engine, they honk, the online time that smell is ever welcome is at 3 am after exciting a club and waiting an hour for a Taxi, and I dotn do that any more !

Ok, nobody is allowed to mention Castrol R....

That distinct warm cheap plastic smell 80s/90s Fords have makes me come over all nostalgic for summer holidays smile

And when I put my car in the garage after a run, the garage smells like Beaulieu motor museum.

As much as I hate full leather interior, I love the smell.

My 3 year old Audi A4 always smells brand new when I get in it (usually after a weekend driving my camper).

Slightly Overfuelling V8s on cold start up, and the smell of an engine bay when you pop the bonnet open after thrashing the absolute knackers off it with everything hot. It's almost as good as the 'plink plink' noises you get after knocking the engine off post thrashing when everything's cooling down biggrin

It's always been that way I've just always assumed it was due to the fuel filler being in there.
